Music, comedy and food – what’s not to love about this small-but-perfectly-formed festival in Winchester, Hampshire? We love the vibrant mix of music, combined with the a programme of events that makes Winchestival as family-friendly as any festival out there.
But of course, as much as we love our grub – and laughs from the likes of the superb Milton Jones who heads the comedy line-up – it is of course the music that we’re focused on, and Winchestival has pulled together a great set of artists once again this year. Grab your tickets here, and then swot up on our pick of the must-see bands…

Indie-pop duo Deco have been steadily growing their profile on the road with a busy touring schedule. In fact, this summer sees them pop up at a host of big festivals, including Isle of Wight, Truck, Y Not, and 110 Above among others, so catch them here first and prepare to enjoy every second of their set.
Deco – Upside Down
Lauran Hibberd has been on our radar for a little while now. We love her kooky style, but also the real substance behind her witty and simply superb material, delivered brilliantly live.
Lauran Hibberd – Hoochie
Tropical-pop outfit Cassia have won many hearts since releasing their debut album Replica earlier this year. Catch their set at Winchestival for Vampire Weekend-esque brilliance and top-drawer musicianship.
Cassia – Get Up Tight
Reading-based indie-pop trio Only The Poets have been cropping up on Sync’s Spotify playlists of late, and it’s no wonder. Absolute earworms akimbo, and if you like what you hear, bear in mind they will be hitting the road later in the year for an extensive UK tour kicking off in mid-October and doubtless coming to a town (relatively) near you!
Only The Poets – Even Hell
Dutch Criminal Record have stepped in as replacements for Sync favourites Childcare and will be welcome additions to the line-up. As ever with festivals, we’ll be praying for nice weather, but no matter what, DCR – along with Cassia – will be sure to bring a touch of sunshine to proceedings no matter what.
