It’s been a big year for six-piece Sports Team. An extensive touring schedule – including dates with Pale Waves – has brought their bouncy, energetic sound to new audiences and enabled the upbeat indie-rock outfit to polish their live show considerably.
It represents big progress since the guys formed the band as students in Cambridge in 2017. We expect huge things from them in 2020, but for now, we continue to listen regularly to this early 2019 release – arguably one of the best motorway-themed tracks since Chris Rea’s festive classic!
