This absolute beaut from Yorkshire outfit Talkboy nabs a top three spot for us this year.
The band’s musicianship and ear for a hook are brought right to the fore in this multi-faceted track. The male/female vocals used subtly at times, and elsewhere with real belt-it-out-loud power, but all the while managing to dovetail the tones superbly throughout.
All Works Out is a fun and pacey romp and, in our view, is their finest so far.
